Tepee Bible Camp is financed solely by gifts of God's people who
have a love for boys and girls. Camp fees are affordable for all.
There are no salaries paid to any camp workers.
All staff members volunteer their services.
The grounds consist of 13 tepees housing 5-6 campers and a counselor in each tepee, a 5-unit motel and 2 cabins for staff, a medical office, large outdoor chapel, gazebo, craft house, dining hall & kitchen, and showerhouse with hot and cold water.
An infirmary is provided with isolation in cases of illness with a registered nurse or EMT on duty 24 hours a day. We are 10 miles from hospital and medical services in Rifle.
The most important point of our program is the teaching of the Word of God by competent, qualified teachers with the application of the Bible to one's everyday life. We give every child the opportunity to claim Christ as their Savior and Lord.
Compassionate couselors are provided with a dedicated staff to meet the needs of each child spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.
A training camp for workers at 14-18 is held in early June to train workers for camp leadership. Graduates of the training camp are recruited to help in regular camps as couselors, cook's helpers, craft helpers, etc. The graduates are not charged for training camp.
