Happy Spring Everyone!

"Save me so I can praise you publicly at Jerusalem's gates, so I can rejoice that you have rescued me." Ps. 9:14

"I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High." "Sing praises to the LORD who reigns in Jerusalem. Tell the world about His unforgettable deeds." Ps. 9: 1, 2, 11.

We are praising God today because of His unforgettable deeds. On Feb. 15 we (Skip and Marie) were in an accident that totaled our mini-van but spared our lives. Skip "walked away" with bruised ribs and Marie "walked away" with a bent sternum. While in the ER that night it was discovered that Marie had an anomaly in the vessels of her brain. Further testing revealed a large aneurysm in the center of her brain. To operate was too risky but there was a new surgeon with a new-to-Grand Junction procedure that could take care of it!  On March 24th she became the 3rd patient to undergo Aneurysm Coiling at St. Mary's Hospital.  There had been no signs or symptoms to tell us there was a problem, so God allowed a huge rock in DeBeque canyon to literally stop us in our tracks so HE could show us medical help was needed to spare Marie's life. Not many people think of rejoicing over a car accident resulting in a totaled car, but we knew it was because of God's amazing grace, love, and care!

Two days before Marie's brain procedure a fellow Christ follower, a local pastor's wife, underwent surgery for cancer. We, and many, many other people prayed earnestly for our "sister". The results: Stage 1 cancer, all contained! No Chemo, no Radiation!  Praise the Lord for His amazing grace, love, and care! He is the Great Physician, the Healer of the Broken, the Savior of the World!  How can we keep silent? How can we hide His greatness? Will you join us today in Praising with us?

Thanks for letting us share.  May God Be Glorified!
